Unity Soup Kitchen Unity's Soup Kitchen. In August of 2002, the Unity Soup Kitchen started as a small group of neighbors and congregation members who gathered for a good meal and conversation. Today, more than 90 people enjoy meals prepared with care by members of Unity and other area congregations. Everyone is welcome, without regard to race, sex, age, religious preference, handicap or income. Dinner is served every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Open Door Free Clinic As of June 14th, 2006, Unity is hosting the Open Door Free Clinic. The mission of the Clinic is to provide health care in a caring environment to the uninsured and underinsured population in the southeast area of Milwaukee County. The idea for the Open Door Free Clinic was germinated by a group of leaders in the Southeast Community Covenant in the summer of 2004. Please call the church office at 744-6311 for clinic hours.

Adults from the neighborhood and surrounding areas gather to play cards, participate in arts and crafts, quilt, and participate in other group activities. A healthy meal, prepared with love by our part-time cook, is always a highlight of the afternoon.
