Educational Opportunities In addition to our children’s Sunday School classes, we have other educational opportunities for adults as well. Following our Sunday morning worship service (and after enough time to allow us to grab some coffee and goodies), a number of adults meet to go into further discussion of the day’s Scripture texts. Sometimes we make it through all of the assigned readings, and sometimes we don’t make it past one sentence.

-On the 2nd Wednesday of every month, women of the congregation meet during the Soup Kitchen (after getting a meal) to study certain aspects of the Bible. Currently they are reading the book “Bad Girls of the Bible” by Liz Curtis Higgs.

YouthWorks! In the summer of 2006, Unity was the host site to YouthWorks! which is a multi-denominational and non-profit mission organization that organizes week-long mission trips for church youth groups in over 80 communities.

-The staff, youth, and their adult leaders stayed at Unity throughout the summer, and did service work around Milwaukee. We were excited to open our doors to this wonderful organization.
